Grab the Mic was founded by Ben Laidlow, a television director and cameraman with 20 years' experience making programmes for broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery and National Geographic.
Ben is also a keen musician who has played guitar in too many bands to mention, and has recorded records and released music. He knows what it feels like to be on both sides of the lens, and is passionate about making video accessible to musicians of all ages, abilities and genres.
